In the recent study by \textit{S. Brianzoni} et. al. [Complex dynamics in a growth model with corruption in public procurement, Discrete Dyn. Nat. Soc., submitted] a discrete time dynamical model is proposed to analyze the consequences of corruption on public procurement in a discrete-time Solow growth model. In this model the main results related to the asymptotic dynamic behaviour and some bifurcations of map \(\phi\) have been explored. In Section 2 of this paper, the authors briefly recall the economic meaning of map 0 which describes the evolution of the fraction of corrupt firms in the model proposes by \textit{S. Brianzoni} et. al. in [loc. cit.]. Then, in Section 3, they present the analysis of the bifurcation structure of the parameter space of map \(f\), defined by constant and logistic functions, which on one hand has qualitatively the same dynamics as map \(\phi\) and, on the other hand, has the well-known logistic function as its component and, this, is simpler to investigate. The authors describe the boundaries of the periodicity regions corresponding to the different kinds of the border-collision bifurcations of attracting and, in particular, superstable cycles of map \(f\).
