The authors prove that convex bodies are the unique minimal fillings of their boundaries among all integral current spaces. A variant that does not impose curvature assumptions on the domain space is included. Another important result included in this paper emphasizes the Lipschitz-volume rigidity property of convex bodies within the category of integral current spaces. The main application discussed is a variant of Lipschitz-volume rigidity for round spheres. Another application shows that the Perales question referring to the interplay between two types of flat convergence of integral currents in \(\mathbb{R}^{N}\) has a negative answer in general. Possible extensions of these results and further counterexamples are finally discussed.
