In this paper, a grad-div stabilized mixed finite element method is developed for solving the time-harmonic Maxwell's equations. The proposed method can ensure that several lowest-order Nédélec elements are valid, which are invalid in the classical methods. The idea of the grad-div stabilization is used in the stabilizing finite element method for the Stokes equations, with an ad hoc stabilizing parameter. The numerical solution converges uniformly. The authors show that the same grad-div stabilization is the key to the stability and the convergence on nonaffine grids. Under the uniform convergence, the proposed method is well-posed for the time-harmonic Maxwell's equations. Numerical results are provided, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed method and the theoretical results.
