Asymptotic stability of the relativistic Boltzmann equation for the soft potentials (Q609542)

The paper aims to produce a rigorous proof of the relaxation of solutions of the three-di\-men\-sion\-al relativistic Boltzmann equation to its stationary solution in the form of the relativistic Maxwell's distribution, provided that the initial configuration is sufficiently close to that distribution. Previously, this proof was published for the case of ``hard'' potentials of the binary interaction between the relativistic particles. The present work produces the proof for ``soft'' potentials. The analysis is performed in a periodic box.
