Some tools to study sets of spectral synthesis for the Fourier algebra \(A(G)\) of a LCA group \(G\) and application (Q6095732)

Let \(G\) be a locally compact abelian group and \(A(G)\) its Fourier algebra. The latter is the isometric image of the group algebra \(L^1(G)\) of \(G\) under the Fourier transform. The algebra \(A(G)\) is one of the most studied Banach algebras of harmonic analysis. In this paper, in the setting of the Fourier algebra, some tools to study the sets of synthesis and Ditkin sets are presented. Many applications are given.
