In the presented paper, the author studies the mappings of the first resolvable class as a valuable tool to address the point of continuity property in the non-metrizable setting. The author extends some results by computing the distance of a general mapping to the family of mappings of the first resolvable class via the quantity frag, and provides some results concerning quantitative difference between countable compactness and compactness in \(\text{Hf}_1(X,E)\). Secondly, the author studies a class of mappings with the countable oscillation rank and relate its basic properties to the aforementioned classes of mappings.
