Measure and cocycle rigidity for certain nonuniformly hyperbolic actions of higher-rank Abelian groups (Q609746)

The program of the authors of studying hyperbolic measures for actions of higher-rank abelian groups is continued and extended. General methods are used and some specific results from the previous papers of smooth ergodic theory, and three new elements are introduced as: the holonomy-invariance, the entropy inequality, the index argument. For actions on tori and infranilmanifolds the existence of an absolutely continuous invariant measure of this kind is obtained for actions where elements are homotopic to those of an action by hyperbolic automorphisms with no multiple or proportional Lyapunov exponents.
