In this paper, authors mainly studied the controllability of nonlinear discrete control systems with certain degeneracy for linear parts. Some applicable conditions are established to ensure the controllability of such systems by Fredholm operators and coincidence degree theory. Some examples are also given to illustrate the main results of this paper.
