In summability theory, theorems which are dealing with the convergence of the given sequence from its summability under a suitable condition are called Tauberian theorems and such conditions are called Tauberian conditions. In the present paper, the authors study the relationship between the statistical deferred Cesàro summability method and statistical convergence, depending on a certain subsequence for real or complex number sequences. They also obtain Moricz-type Tauberian conditions for statistical deferred Cesàro summability. Furthermore, by defining statistical deferred slow decrease and statistical deferred slow oscillation, they derive Tauberian conditions controlling these behaviors of a sequence in the sense of statistical convergence.
