This paper studies modelling the super-infection of two strains of dengue virus. The influence is investigated through modelling of systems of ordinary differential equations capturing the infection. In particular, the individuals that are co-infected with strain-1 and strain-2 dengue viruses, and mosquitoes that are co-infected with strain-1 and strain-2 dengue viruses are incorporated. The disease-free equilibrium and basic reproduction number of the model are established. An analysis for local asymptotic stability of disease-free equilibrium and existence and stability of endemic equilibrium is presented. Some numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the theoretical prediction.
