In a many-interacting-worlds harmonic oscillator model proposed by \textit{M. J. Hall} et al. [Phys. Rev. X 4, No. 4, Article ID 041013, 17 p. (2014; \url{doi:10.1103/PhysRevX.4.041013})] the ground state minimizing the Hamiltonian was shown to be unique under mild conditions by \textit{I. W. Mckeague} and \textit{B. Levin} [Ann. Appl. Probab. 26, No. 4, 2540--2555 (2016; Zbl 1352.60034)] and its empirical distribution was proven to be asymptotically normal. In the present paper the authors prove optimal (upper and lower) bounds on the Wasserstein distance between this empirical distribution and the standard normal law using Stein's method. The distance is of order \(\sqrt{\log N}/N\) and improves the result by McKeague and Levin. The authors further prove optimal bounds on the Kolmogorov distance, which remarkably is of lower order \(1/N\).
