The authors give some fundamental significant properties of slice monogenic functions defined on axially symmetric slice domains. The most important result is that there exists for each holomorphic function on the complex plane a unique slice monogenic extension on the corresponding domain. This property allows the authors to consider the structure of zero set of slice monogenic function, which is nothing but the union of isolated \((n-1)\)-spheres and/or isolated points. They also introduce a new definition of multiplication of the slice monogenic functions, which is called slice monogenic product. This product is associative distributive, but not commutative, and the slice monogenic product of two slice monogenic functions is still a slice monogenic function. Then an inverse of the slice monogenic function can be obtained from the symmetrization of \(f\) defined by the slice monogenic conjugate.
