Reconstructing the initial state of the linear system and estimating its error in discretization (Q6110574)

The authors of the article present one iterative algorithm based on the concept of direct and inverse observer to restore the initial state of a linear system with polynomial coefficients. The convergence of the algorithm in a continuous semi-discrete space has been rigorously proven. Numerical examples for systems of second- and third-order differential equations, as well as for one partial differential equation, illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
