An LCD code is a linear code over a finite field with vanishing intersection with its Euclidean dual. These family of codes has applications in cryptography, communication systems and data storage. Recently, some authors have extended the concept to other inner products or forms. In this paper, the authors consider quasi-cyclic codes with one generator to construct LCD codes with respect to a symplectic form which are also MDS. The literature contains MDS LCD codes but the codes in the paper are new. Consequently, and as a straightforward result, some MDS maximal entanglement EAQECCs are obtained. All the provided codes are \(2^q\)-ary.
