Let \(\mathbb{F}_q\) denote the finite field of order \(q\), where \(q\) is a prime power. Additionally, let \(\mathbb{F}_q[x]\) represent the ring of polynomials with coefficients in \(\mathbb{F}_q\) in the indeterminate \(x\). A permutation polynomial of \(\mathbb{F}_q\) is a polynomial in \(\mathbb{F}_q[x]\) that defines a one-to-one mapping within \(\mathbb{F}_q\). Permutation polynomials have garnered significant attention due to their practical applications, particularly in fields like coding theory and cryptography. Several criteria have been developed for constructing permutation polynomials. One such criterion, known as the AGW criterion, was discovered by \textit{A. Akbary} et al. [Finite Fields Appl. 17, No. 1, 51--67 (2011; Zbl 1281.11102)]. A permutation polynomial that meets the AGW criteria is referred to as an AGW-PP. AGW-PPs can be categorized into three families: multiplicative type, additive type, and hybrid type. An intriguing challenge in the study of permutation polynomials is to determine their compositional inverses. Notably, Niu, Li Qu, and Wang have given a general method for constructing compositional inverses for specific classes of AGW-PPs. In this paper, the author presents compositional inverses for other AGW-PPs that have not been previously explored.
