The absence of Griesmer \([104,4,82]_5\)-codes serves as just one illustration among numerous instances where extendability results find application. Over a series of papers, Landjev and Rousseva have introduced the concept of \((t \bmod q)\)-arcs as a comprehensive framework for extendability outcomes in the domains of codes and arcs. In this paper, the authors enhance the existing partial classification of \((3 \bmod 5)\)-arcs within \(\mathrm{PG}(3, 5)\), bringing to light two previously undiscovered, rather unique instances that refute a conjecture proposed by Landjev and Rousseva. Given that the original non-existence proof of Griesmer \([104,4,82]_5\)-codes is also impacted by this development, the authors also present an extended (and very nice) proof to address this void.
