In the fifth book of his \textit{Harmonices mundi}, Kepler raised the problem of constructing the heptagon by straightedge and compass alone and concluded that it can not be constructed since its formal description is impossible. As a response the Dominican friar Ignacio Muñoz Pinciano published his \textit{Manifesto geometrico} in which he constructed the heptagon via the isosceles triangle with sides (9,9,4). He used a commensurable ratio of 9/4 and therebye produced one of the most precise techniques developed in practical geometry.
