Dynamic domain decomposition method based on weighted Voronoi diagrams (Q6115303)

The authors propose an improvement of the ordinary Voronoi diagram domain decomposition method by employing weighted Voronoi diagrams. The possibilities of such domain decomposition to achieve a better balanced configuration for two- and three-dimensional problems using mesh configurations typical of computational fluid dynamics, are demonstrated in this work.
