    The authors propose a derivation by homogenization techniques of a variant of the so-called Doi model -- a prototype modeling attempt of a simple polymeric flow. A model for Brownian particles (an stochastic differential equation with Stratanovicth noise) is coupled with the Stokes equation. The main difficulty lies in handling mathematically the coupling in the system.
