A special convex pair consists of \((K,Q)\), where \(Q\) is the unit cube in \( \mathbb C^n\), \(h\) is a continuous concave function with values in \( (-1,1)\) and \(K=\{z \in Q: y_{n}\leq h(z_{1},\dots,z_{n-1},x_{n}) \}\). A complex manifold \(Y\) satisfies the ``Convex Approximation Property'' (CAP) if, for every special convex pair \((K,Q)\) and for every holomorphic map \(f: K \rightarrow Y\), there is a sequence of holomorphic maps \( f_{k}:Q \rightarrow Y\) converging to \(f\) uniformly on \(K\). If \(X\) is a Stein space and \(\pi : Z \rightarrow X\) is a holomorphic submersion such that \(X\) can be exhausted by a sequence of open relatively compact subsets \(U_{j}\) for which each restriction \(Z|_{U_{j}} \rightarrow U_{j}\) is a stratified holomorphic fiber bundle whose fibers enjoy CAP, the author proves several Oka-type principles: the basic Oka principle, the basic Oka principle with interpolation and approximation, the basic Oka principle with approximation and jet interpolation, the one-parametric Oka principle. In the same frame, the author investigates connections between several interesting types of approximation and interpolation properties. Complete proofs and several interesting discussions are also presented.
