The authors propose a new ES (Entropy Stable) scheme using flux limiter based on a moving mesh strategy for ideal MHD (Magnetohy-Drodynamics) and SWMHD (Shallow Water Magnetohy-Drodynamics). The scheme uses the S-M limiter to weigh the ES flux and the anti-diffusive flux and then uses a new monitor function to identify all types of waves at a specific time level, so as to gather mesh points near these large-gradient regions to achieve mesh optimization. The aim is to weaken the smearing phenomenon of the ES scheme while preserving its entropy stability. It is shown that the new scheme captures the structure of the solutions more sharply (especially shock waves and rarefaction waves) and can solve discontinuous problems stably and efficiently. It is proved that numerical scheme is still entropy-stable. Some numerical tests are presented to show that the new algorithm can achieve strong robustness and high resolution, and can track various waves.
