Let \(AM\) denote the Gaussian image of an arbitrary subset \(M\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with a conic hull \(C\). In Theorem 3.1, the authors prove that the probability that the convex hull of \(AM\) contains the origin in its interior is the same as the \(k\)-th Grassmann angle of \(C\). The second main result, Theorem 3.5, shows that the expected Grassmann angles of \(AC\) coincide with the corresponding Grassmann angles of \(C\). In addition, the authors derive a probabilistic version of the conic Steiner formula in Theorem 3.10 and show its equivalence to an earlier result from [\textit{M. B. McCoy} and \textit{J. A. Tropp}, Discrete Comput. Geom. 51, No. 4, 926--963 (2014; Zbl 1317.52010), Remark 4.7]. In Section 4, the main results are illustrated with three examples. The absorption probability for Gaussian polytopes is computed, it is shown that, on average, the sum of Grassmann angles of a Gaussian simplex equals the sum of Grassmann angles of the regular simplex and, finally, the convex hulls of Gaussian random walks are considered.
