Let \(V\) be a vector space over a field \(F\) and \(A\) is a linear operator acting on \(V\). Its centralizer \(\{X \in \mathrm{End}_F(V): XA = AX\}\) is denoted by \(C(A)\). The double centralizer \(\{X \in \mathrm{End}_F(V): XY=YX \mathrm{~for~all~} Y \in C(A)\}\) of \(A\) is denoted by \(CC(A)\). The authors employ finite topologies defined within the realm of linear operator algebras to delve into the centralizers and double centralizers of locally algebraic linear operators. They establish the criteria for the equality \(CC(A) = C(A)\) to hold for any given locally algebraic operator \(A\). In the context of an algebraically closed field, they also provide a description of minimal locally algebraic linear operators. Additionally, they conduct an examination of dense subrings of endomorphism rings of free modules over various classes of projectively free rings and their automorphisms.
