The authors consider a boundary value problem for a doubly periodic array of disks for harmonic (analytic) functions. The following Gurtin-Murdoch conditions on the circle is stated as \(W_I(t)= W_m(t)\), \(\frac{\partial W_I}{\partial n}-\frac{\partial W_m}{\partial n} = c \frac{\partial^2 W_I}{\partial s \partial n}\), \(|t|=r\), where \(s\) and \(n\) denote the unit tangent and outward normal vectors, respectively, and \(c\) is a given constant. Here, the function \(W_I(z)\) is harmonic in \(|z|<r\), and \(W_m(z)\) in the periodicity cell without the disk. The problem is reduced to an infinite system of linear algebraic equations which is numerically solved by truncation. The result is compared to previously obtained numerical solutions for \(c=0\) instead of the known exact formula.
