The following boundary value problem for fourth order differential-difference equation is considered: \[ \begin{cases} x^{(4)}(t)-c_{1}x^{(4)}(t-\tau_{1})-c_{2}x^{(4)}(t+\tau_{2})=f(t,\overline{x}(t),\overline{x}(t-\tau_{1}),\overline{x}(t+\tau_{2})),\quad a<t<b, \\ x(t)=0, \quad t\in[a-\tau_{1},a]\cup[b,b+\tau_{2}],\\ x'(a+0)=0,\quad x'(b-0)=0, \end{cases} \] where \(\overline{x}(t)=(x(t),x'(t),x''(t),x'''(t))\), \(\overline{x}(t+\Delta)=(x(t+\Delta),x'(t+\Delta),x''(t+\Delta),x'''(t+\Delta))\), \(\Delta=-\tau_{1},\tau_{2}\). The authors discuss the estimation of the error between the approximate solution and the solution obtained by the quasilinear iterative scheme and the approximate quasilinear iterative scheme.
