The authors study the existence of solutions of nonlinear differential equations with impulsive perturbations using functional analytic methods and obtain sufficient conditions to obtain a solution of the nonlinear system. In the beginning they develop the necessary infrastructure by introducing various concepts of sequences and spaces that are required to represent the nonlinear differential equation as a linear operator. In fact, they consider the impulse also as an operator and study the pair. The tools that are used are the concepts of c-continuous operators, c-compact operators and a contraction theorem in this set up to use the fixed point theory to obtain existence of solutions.
