Geodesic \(\mathcal{E}\)-prequasi-invex function and its applications to non-linear programming problems (Q6135312)

The authors present a brief survey of various generalizations of convexity and invexity kmown in the literature. The paper is a contribution to the research of generalization of convex functions and convex sets. The authors introduce a new concept of geodesic \(E\)-prequasi-invex function and compare it with the previously published concept of geodesic \(E\)-preinvex function. It is shown that the new class of functions is larger than the class of geodesic \(E\)-pre-invex functions. The new class of functions is applied to non-linear programming problems using a new class of sets called geodesic slack invex sets. Sufficient optimality conditions for non-linear programming problems defined on a geodesic local E-invex set are obtained.
