It is well-known that many problems of applied mathematics are reduced to the solution of integral equations with special functions in kernels. Therefore, the inversion formulas for such equations play an important role in solving various problems. In this paper, the inversion formulas found are applied to solving Cauchy-Goursat problems for generalized Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation with negative parameters. This paper is devoted to the study of boundary value problems for a degenerate hyperbolic equation of the second kind, namely a generalized Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation with negative parameters. Consider the following degenerating hyperbolic equation of the second kind \[ (-y)^{m}U_{xx}-x^{n}U_{yy}=0, \qquad -1<m<n\leq 0,\tag{1} \] in a finite simply connected domain \( D \), bounded by characteristics \( AB:\xi=0, BC:\eta =b \, (b>0) \) and \( AB: y=0 \) for \( x\geqslant 0 \) and \( y\leqslant 0,\) where \[ \xi =\frac{2}{2+n}x^{(2+n)/2}-\frac{2}{2+m} (-y)^{(2+m)/2} , \tag{2.1} \] and \[ \eta =\frac{2}{2+n}x^{(2+n)/2}+\frac{2}{2+m} (-y)^{(2+m)/2} .\tag{2.2} \] With the help of the nonsingular change of variables (2.1)--(2.2), Equation (1) is transformed into the generalized Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation with the negative parameters \[ \frac{\partial^{2}u}{\partial\xi\partial\eta}+\left(\frac{q}{\eta+\xi}+\frac{p}{\eta-\xi}\right)\frac{\partial u}{\partial\xi} + \left(\frac{q}{\eta+\xi}-\frac{p}{\eta-\xi}\right)\frac{\partial u}{\partial \eta}= 0,\tag{3} \] where \[ u(\xi,\eta)= U\left[\left(\frac{\eta+\xi}{2(1-2q)}\right)^{1-2q}, \left(\frac{\eta-\xi}{2(1-2p)}\right)^{1-2p}\right], \] and \[ q=\frac{n}{2(n+2)},\qquad p=\frac{m}{2(m+2)}, \qquad -1<2p<2q\leqslant 0. \] Under the change of variables (2.1)--(2.2), the domain \( D \) is mapped into a triangle in the plane \( \xi o \eta \) with sides \( \xi =0,0\leqslant \eta \leq b;\eta =b, 0\leq \xi \leq b; \eta=\xi \) whose vertices are at the points \( A(0,0),B_{1}(b,b) \) and \( C_{1}(0,b) \). If \( -1<m<n\leq 0, \) Equation (1) is called a degenerate hyperbolic equation of the second kind. In this work, the authors study generalized solutions of the Cauchy-Goursat problems for the Equation (3) with negative parameters \( -1<2p<2q \leq 0 \).
