The study of regularity theory for elliptic equations in the form \[ -\operatorname{div} \mathcal{A}(x,Du)=f\ \text{in}\ \Omega \] has been conducted extensively, considering various assumptions on the vector field \(\mathcal{A}(x,\cdot)\). For instance, in the linear Poisson equation, where \(\mathcal{A}(x,Du)=Du\), the classical regularity theory states that if \(\partial \Omega\in C^2\) and \(f\in L^2(\Omega)\) then \(Du\in W^{1,2}(\Omega)\). The main result of this article states that under Assumption 1.1 on the \(\Omega\) and its boundery one can have \[ (\kappa^2+|Du|^2)^{\frac{p(x)-2}{2}}Du\in W^{1,2}(\Omega). \] Due to study the above result, The author considered a weaker solution concept called the entropy solution.
