This interesting paper continues the search for a ZFC example of a maximal almost disjoint family such that the Vietoris hyperspace of all closed subsets of the corresponding Mrówka-Isbell space is pseudocompact, initiated by \textit{M. Hrušák} et al. [Topology Appl. 154, No. 17, 3048--3055 (2007; Zbl 1129.54007)]. In particular, the authors construct such families under the assumptions \(\mathfrak{ap}=\mathfrak c\) and \(\diamondsuit (\mathfrak b)\). They also add an interesting item to the list of conditions equivalent to the statement that all Vietoris hyperspaces of Mrówka-Isbell spaces are pseudocompact (see [\textit{O. Guzmán} et al., ibid. 305, Article ID 107872, 24 p. (2022; Zbl 1484.54022)]) by showing that this is, in fact equivalent to the statement that for any MAD family \(\mathcal A\) there is an ultrafilter \(p\in\omega^*\) such that the Mrówka-Isbell space \(\psi(\mathcal A)\) is \(p\)-pseudocompact.
