In this paper, the authors investigate on fixed-time partial component consensus for nonlinear multi-agent systems with/without external disturbances. Concretely, by combining the permutation matrix method with fixed-time stability theory, fixed-time partial component consensus (FdTPCC) is transformed into the stability of the new error system, which is related to partial variables in fixed time and some novel consensus protocols are proposed to achieve FdTPCC.
