The purpose of this paper is to use Hartogs' fundamental theorem for analytic functions in several complex variables to prove a \(q\)-Taylor formula in \(k\) variables. Also, several other formulas are proved, and a long reference list is given. The fundamental paper [J. Difference Equ. Appl. 16, No. 11, 1293--1307 (2010; Zbl 1223.39005)] by the author belongs to this list. Let us note that the alleged \(q\)-derivative at the end of page 2339 is not a \(q\)-analogue of the derivative; a division by \(1-q\) is required. The \(q\)-exponential differential operator is defined in formula (1.8). After some checking it is found that the proof of formula (3.1) on page 2346 does not work out. It is worth to mention that the same topic of this article has been already considered by the reviewer in [A comprehensive treatment of \(q\)-calculus. Basel: Birkhäuser (2012; Zbl 1256.33001); Ann. Univ. Mariae Curie-Skłodowska, Sect. A 75, No. 2, 45--71 (2021; Zbl 1494.05014)]. Both references are not cited by the author.
