Assume \[d_n=\inf_{\Phi}\{ x\in\mathbb{R}^+: \Phi\subset \Phi_1\cup \Phi_2\cup\ldots\cup \Phi_n, diam \Phi_i<x,i=1,\ldots,n\}\] where the infimum is taken over all sets \(\Phi\) of unit diameter. The values of \(d_n\) are known only for \(n\leq 4\) and \(n=7\). For \(n=6\) it was known only that \(\frac{1}{2\cos\frac{\pi}{22}}=0.5051...\leq d_6\leq 0.5426...\) New result states that \(d_6\leq 0.53432...\).
