Consider the ternary Piatetski-Shapiro inequality \[ |P_{1}^{c}+P_{2}^{c}+P_{3}^{c}-N|<\varepsilon, \] where \(N\) is a sufficiently large positive number, \(p_{1}, p_{2}\) and \(p_{3}\) are prime numbers, \(c > 1\) is not an integer, and \(\varepsilon >0\) is a small constant. Various authors have tried to solve this inequality. The best known result is due to \textit{R. Baker} [Funct. Approximatio, Comment. Math. 64, No. 2, 203--250 (2021; Zbl 1484.11195)] who has solved it for \(1 <c<\frac{6}{5}\). \textit{S. I. Dimitrov} [Proc. Jangjeon Math. Soc. 24, No. 3, 403--416 (2021; Zbl 1492.11112)] has proved that, for every sufficiently large positive number \(N\), and a small constant \(\varepsilon >0\), the logarithmic inequality \[ |p_{1}\log p_{1}+p_{2}\log p_{2}+p_{3}\log p_{3}-N |< \varepsilon \] has a solution in prime numbers \(p_{1}, p_{2}\) and \(p_{3}\). In the present paper, a new Diophantine inequality with prime numbers has been introduced and it is proved that for any fixed \(\theta >1\) and every sufficiently large positive number \(N\), the tangent inequality \[ |p_{1}^{c} \tan^{ \theta}(\log p_{1})+p_{2}^{c} \tan ^{ \theta}(\log p_{2})+p_{3}^{c} \tan ^{ \theta}(\log p_{3}) -N|<\Big (\frac{2^{\theta}N}{3^{\theta+3}}\Big)^{\frac{1}{c^{2}}(c-\frac{10}{9})} \] is solvable in prime numbers \(p_{1}, p_{2}, p_{3}\) and \(1 <c<\frac{10}{9}\).
