Crystalline graded rings were introduced by \textit{E. Nauwelaerts} and \textit{F. Van Oystaeyen} [Algebr. Represent. Theory 11, No. 2, 133-148 (2008; Zbl 1163.16033)]. These rings are generalizations of quantum Weyl algebras, generalized Weyl algebras, twisted group rings and generalized skew crossed products. In the paper under review it is proved that the global dimension of a crystalline graded ring is equal to the global dimension of its base ring in the case where the grading group is finite and its order is invertible in the ring. Maximal graded ordered structures of such crystalline graded rings are studied when, in addition, the base ring is a commutative Dedekind domain.
