In this article, the authors develop the concept and some main properties of the double-measure ergodic and the double-measure pseudo almost periodic functions in the sense of Stepanov, introduced by \textit{T. Diagana} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 69, No. 12, 4277--4285 (2008; Zbl 1169.34330)]. As a consequence, they give a result of existence and uniqueness of mild solutions \(v\) of parabolic equations of the type \begin{align*} \frac{d}{dt}(v(t)-g(v(t)) & =-A(v(t)-g(v(t))+f(t,v(t))\text{ for }t>\sigma\\ v(\sigma) & =v_{\sigma} \end{align*} where \(-A\) is the generator of a semigroup \(T\) in a Banach space \((X,\left\Vert {}\right\Vert )\), and \(v_{\sigma}\in X_{\alpha}=(D(A^{\alpha }),\left\Vert {}\right\Vert _{\alpha})\), where \(\left\Vert w\right\Vert _{\alpha}=\left\Vert A^{\alpha}w\right\Vert \) for some \(\alpha\in\left( 0,1\right) \). It is supposed that \(A^{\alpha}\) satisfies the property \(\left\Vert A^{\alpha}T(t)\right\Vert \leq M_{\alpha}t^{-\alpha}e^{-\omega t}\), \(t>0\), for some \(M_{\alpha}>0,\omega>0\), and \(f\) and \(g\) satisfy suitable Lipschitz properties.
