    Let \(X\) and \(Y\) be two Banach spaces. A mapping \(T: X\to Y\) is called subadditive if for all \(x_1, x_2\in X\), \(\|T(x_1 + x_2)\| \le \|T(x_1)\| + \|T(x_2)\|\). The subadditive map \(T\) is said to be strongly subadditive whenever for each \(x_0\in X\) there exists \(\epsilon>0\) such that \(\|x -x_0\|<\epsilon\) implies \(\|T(x)-T(x_0)|\leq M \|T(x-x_0)\|\), for all \(x\in X\), where \(M\) is a fixed positive number. See [\textit{E. Beckenstein} and \textit{L. Narici}, Acta Math. Hung. 88, No. 1--2, 147--167 (2000; Zbl 0963.46030)] for some example of subadditive and strongly subadditive maps. Let \(A, B\) be unital commutative Banach algebras and \(X\) be a Banach \(A\)-module. A map \(T: B\to X\) is called separating if \(b_1b_2=0\) implies \(\mathrm{Coz}(Tb_1) \cap \mathrm{Coz}(Tb_2) = \emptyset\) for all \(b_1, b_2 \in X,\) where \(\mathrm{Coz}(Tb_i)\) is the cozero set of \(Tb_i\), \(i=1,2\), as defined in [\textit{L. Mousavi} and \textit{F. Sady}, Bull. Iran. Math. Soc. 37, No. 4, 127--139 (2012; Zbl 1290.46041)]. The study of separating maps goes back to [\textit{S. Banach}, Théorie des opérations linéaires. New York: Chelsea (1955; Zbl 0067.08902)]. Many authors have studied separating maps in different situations (see, for example, [\textit{Y. A. Abramovich}, Indag. Math. 45, 265--279 (1983; Zbl 0527.47025); \textit{J. Araujo} et al., J. Math. Anal. Appl. 192, No. 1, 258--265 (1995; Zbl 0828.47024); \textit{J. Araujo} and \textit{K. Jarosz}, Contemp. Neumann}, Glasg. Math. J. 43, No. 2, 295--309 (2001; Zbl 0994.47030); \textit{F. Sady} and \textit{Y. Estaremi}, Bull. Korean Math. Soc. 44, No. 4, 753--761 (2007; Zbl 1146.46025)]). In this paper, under some conditions, the subadditive separating Banach module valued map \(T: B\to X\) was characterized. Furthermore, it is shown that under certain conditions each bijective strongly subadditive separating map \(T: B\to X\) which is continuous at \(0\), is automatically continuous (for similar studies, see [\textit{K. Jarosz}, Can. Math. Bull. 33, No. 2, 139--144 (1990; Zbl 0714.46040); \textit{J.-S. Jeang} and \textit{N.-C. Wong}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 201, No. 3, 981--993 (1996; Zbl 0936.47011); \textit{L. Soc. 37, No. 4, 127--139 (2012; Zbl 1290.46041)]).
