In this short note, by reviewing the distribution of the leading digits of \(2^n\), a method of generating the least likely leading digits of \(2^n\) is introduced using the continued fraction of \(\log_{10}2\). More precisely, let \(n\ge 3\) be the the denominator of an odd convergent of the continued fraction of \(\log_{10}2\), and let \(L\) be the smallest non-negative integer larger than \(\log_{10}(n/3)-1\). Then the first \(L\) leading digits of \(2^n\) are all \(9\).
