Let \(\mathfrak F\) be a family of square matrices over the complex numbers \(\mathbb C\) of the same size satisfying \((AB-BA)C=C(AB-BA)\) for all \(A,B,C\in\mathfrak F\). Let \(f_k(x_1,x_2,\dots,x_p)\), \(k=1,2,\dots,r\), be polynomials in the variables \(x_1,x_2,\dots,x_p\) with coefficients in \(\mathbb C\). For \(n\times n\) complex matrices \(M_1, M_2,\dots,M_r\), let \(F(x_1,x_2,\dots,x_p)=\sum_{k=1}^r M_kf_k(x_1,x_2,\dots,x_p)\) and let \(\delta F(x_1,x_2,\dots,x_p)=\det F(x_1,x_2,\dots,x_p)\). The result in this paper is that, for \(A_1,A_2,\dots,A_p,M_1,M_2,\dots,M_r\in\mathfrak F\), if \(F(A_1,A_2,\dots,A_p)=0\), then \(\delta F(A_1,A_2,\dots,A_p)=0\). This result is correct.
