Let \(k\) be a perfect field and let \(DM^{\text{eff}}_-(k)\) be the triangulated category of bounded complexes of motives defined by V. Voevodsky. For a smooth scheme of finite type \(X\) over \(k\) let \(\mathbb{Z}_{\text{tr}}(X)\) be the associated Nisnevich sheaf with transfers. The motivic cohomology groups of \(X\) are defined as follows in [\textit{V. Voevodsky}, \textit{A.Suslin} and \textit{E. M. Friedlander}, Cycles, transfers, and motivic homology theories, Annals of Mathematics Studies. 143. Princeton, NJ: Princeton University Press. v, 254 p. (2000; Zbl 1021.14006)] \[ H^i_M(X,\mathbb{Z}(j))= \Hom_{DM^{\text{eff}}_-}(\mathbb{Z}_{\text{tr}}(X), \mathbb{Z}(j)[i]) \] for \(i,j\geq 0\), where \(\mathbb{Z}(i)\) is the Suslin-Voevodsky complex. One can also define motivic cohomology groups with \(\mathbb{Z}/n\)-coefficients \(H^i_M(X,\mathbb{Z}/n(j))\). Let \(H_\bullet(k)\) denote the (unstable) homotopy category of pointed simplicial Nisnevich sheaves on \(Sm/k\), as defined by Morel and Voevodsky. For \(i,j\geq 0\) one can define motivic cohomology groups \(H^{2j-1}_{M,H_0}(X,\mathbb{Z}(j))\) and similarly for \(\mathbb{Z}/n\). Then there are isomorphisms \[ H^i_{M,H_0}(X, \mathbb{Z}(j)\simeq H^i_{{\mathcal M}}(X, \mathbb{Z}(j));\;H^i_{M,H_0}(X, \mathbb{Z}/n(j))\simeq H^i_M(X, \mathbb{Z}/n(j)). \] It is also known that the motivic cohomology groups \(H^i_M(X,\mathbb{Z}(j))\) are isomorphic to Bloch's higher Chow groups. \(CH^{2j-i}(X, j)\), and similarly with \(\mathbb{Z}/n\)-coefficients. In this paper it is shown that these isomorphisms are compatible with the product structures, with \(\mathbb{Z}\) and \(\mathbb{Z}/n\) coefficients. The compatibility result with \(\mathbb{Z}\) coefficients for the motivic cohomology was proved before in [\textit{C. Weibel}, Products in higher Chow groups and motivic cohomology, Algebraic \(K\)-theory. Proceedings of an AMS-IMS-SIAM summer research conference, Seattle, WA, USA, 1997. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society. Proc. Symp. Pure Math. 67, 305--315 (1999; Zbl 0942.19003)].
