Asymptotic stability of forced oscillations emanating from a limit cycle (Q616463)

The authors consider a bifurcation problem for periodic solutions of analytic systems of ODEs. In this setting, they prove that, if the associated bifurcation function has a zero, where it changes sign, this point gives rise to bifurcating orbits which are either asymptotically stable, or unstable, depending on the change of sign. The novelty lies in the fact that no assumption is needed on the derivatives of the bifurcating function.
