Important in the study of the SYZ conjecture of \textit{A. Strominger} et al. [Nucl. Phys., B 479, No. 1--2, 243--259 (1996; Zbl 0896.14024)] are Lagrangian torus fibers with singularities modeled by special Lagrangian cones in \(\mathbb C^3\). The main theorem of the paper under review is a lifting theorem, giving sufficient conditions for when a Lagrangian immersion in \(\mathbb CP^{n-1}\) lifts through the principal Hopf \(S^1\)-bundle \(\pi \colon S^{2n-1} \to \mathbb CP^{n-1}\) to an embedded Legendrian submanifold in \(S^{2n-1}\) thus yielding a Lagrangian cone in \(\mathbb C^n\). When \(n = 3\), some Lagrangian cones that are isotopic to the Harvey-Lawson special Lagrangian cone and the trivial cone are discussed. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1515.57005].
