Let \(P \colon \mathbb{R}^{n} \to \mathbb{R}^{n}\) be a continuous and positively homogeneous (of order \(m > 1\)) mapping. Assuming that the system \(x'(t) = P(x(t))\), \(t\in\mathbb{R}\), has no nonzero bounded solutions, the authors prove that the fact that the degree of \(P\) on the unit sphere is different from zero is a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an \(\omega\)-periodic solution to the periodically perturbed system \[ x'(t) = P(x(t)) + f(t,x(t)), \quad t\in\mathbb{R}, \] for every perturbation \(f \colon \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}^{n} \to \mathbb{R}^{n}\) continuous, \(\omega\)-periodic in the first variable, and such that \[ \lim_{|y|\to+\infty} |y|^{-m} \max_{t\in[0,\omega]} |f(t,y)|=0. \] This paper improves previous contributions.
