    X. Guo and K. Zhao classified a class of simple modules over untwisted affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras. On these modules, each weight vector of the positive parts of affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras acts locally finitely. For finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\), the affine Lie algebra corresponding to \(\mathfrak{g}\) is \(\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}}=\mathfrak{g}\otimes \mathbb{C}[t^{\pm 1}]\oplus \mathbb{C} C\), with the Lie bracket \([C,\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}}] = 0\) (\(C\) commutes with everyone element in \(\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}}\)) and \[ [x\otimes t^m, y\otimes t^n] = [x,y] \otimes t^{m+n} + m(x|y) \delta_{m,-n}C, \] where \(x,y\in \mathfrak{g}\) and \(m,n\in \mathbb{Z}\) and \((\cdot | \cdot)\) is a nondegenerate associative bilinear form on \(\mathfrak{g}\). The Virasoro algebra \(\mathcal{V}\) is the universal central extension of the derivation algebra of \(\mathbb{C}[t^{\pm 1}]\), i.e., \(\mathcal{V}=\mbox{Der}(\mathcal{A}) \oplus \mathbb{C}C' = \left(\bigoplus_{n\in \mathbb{Z}}\mathbb{C}d_n\right) \oplus \mathbb{C}C'\), where \(d_n = t^{n+1}\frac{d}{dt}\), \(n\in \mathbb{Z}\), subject to the commutation relations \([\mathcal{V},C']=0\) and \([d_m,d_n]=(n-m)d_{m+n} + \frac{m^3-m}{12}\delta_{m,-n}C'\), \(m,n\in \mathbb{Z}\). On can then extend the \(d_n\)-action from \(\mathbb{C}[t^{\pm 1}]\) to \(\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}}\) by \([d_n,C]=0\) and \([d_n,x\otimes t^m]= mx\otimes t^{m+n}\), where \(m,n\in \mathbb{Z}\) and \(x\in \mathfrak{g}\). This makes \(\mathcal{V}\) into an algebra of derivations on \(\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}}\). That is, the affine-Virasoro Lie algebra corresponding to \(\mathfrak{g}\) is the algebra \(\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}}\rtimes \mathcal{V} = (\bigoplus_{n\in \mathbb{Z}}\mathfrak{g}(n)) \oplus (\bigoplus_{n\in \mathbb{Z}}\mathbb{C}d_n) \oplus \mathbb{C}C\oplus \mathbb{C} C'\) subject to the commutation relations: \begin{itemize} \item[(1)] \([x(m),y(n)] = [x,y](m+n)+m(x|y)\delta_{m,-n}C\), \item[(2)] \([d_m,d_n]=(n-m)d_{m+n}+\frac{m^3-m}{12}\delta_{m,-n}C'\), \item[(3)] \([d_n,x(m)]=mx(m+n)\), and \item[(4)] \([\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}}\rtimes \mathcal{V}, \mathbb{C}C+\mathbb{C}C']=0\) \end{itemize} for \(m,n\in \mathbb{Z}\) and \(x,y\in \mathfrak{g}\). For all affine Virasoro algebras, H. Tan classifies all simple modules with the similar property. The author determines that there are precisely three classes of simple modules on which each weight vector of the positive part of any affine-Virasoro algebra acts locally finitely: simple highest weight or Whittaker Virasoro algebra modules, simple highest weight or Whittaker affine Lie algebra modules, and simple highest weight or Whittaker affine Virasoro algebra modules which are neither simple Virasoro algebra modules nor simple affine Lie algebra modules. Tan also obtains three equivalent conditions to characterize such simple modules over affine-Virasoro algebras.
