Locally graded groups with all non-nilpotent subgroups permutable (Q6169100)

In this paper, the authors prove two interesting results concerning locally graded groups whose non-nilpotent subgroups are permutable: Theorem A. Let \(G\) be a torsion free locally graded group whose every non-nilpotent subgroup is permutable. Then \(G\) is nilpotent. Theorem B. Let \(G\) be a non-periodic locally graded group whose every non-nilpotent subgroup is permutable. Then \(G\) is solvable. The authors announce that they hope to work on the periodic case in a subsequent paper.
