The author starts from the point of view that Einstein's argument for the incompleteness of quantum mechanics, ``did not make it into the 1935 Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paper [Phys. Rev., II. Ser. 47, 777--780 (1935; Zbl 0012.04201)] in the way Einstein thought it would''. This, as he believes, was clearly formulated in several writings by Einstein himself. Therefore, to support Don Howard's standpoint, who argued that Einstein completeness turns out to be a rather different type of completeness than the one articulated in the EPR paper, namely completeness as categoricity, he ``provides an algebraic reconstruction of Einstein's own argument for the incompleteness of quantum mechanics''.
