The authors derive expressions for the \(\boldsymbol{J}\)-, \(M\)- and \(\boldsymbol{L}\)-integrals of two line charges and two line forces in 3D-electrostatics and 3D-linear elasticity, respectively. The \(\boldsymbol{J}\)-integral represents the electrostatic part of the Lorentz force of two line charges in electrostatics, and the Cherepanov force of two line forces in elasticity. The \(M\)-integral equals half the electrostatic interaction energy in electrostatics, and half the elastic interaction energy in elasticity. As to the \(\boldsymbol{L}\)-integral, it represents the total torque about an axis perpendicular to the plane containing the line sources, caused by the interaction of the two line sources. The derived expressions reveal some interesting properties of these integrals. In particular, it turns out that the \(\boldsymbol{J}\)-integrals form irrotational vector fields, as they can be expressed as the gradients of scalar fields. The derivation of the required expressions is achieved by expressing integrals in three dimensions in terms of the corresponding 3D-Green functions, of the Laplace operator for charges, and the 3D-Green tensor of the Navier operator for forces.
