The author of the article studied a modified Keller-Segel model in a weighted network that takes into account the volume-filling effect similar to the system \[ \begin{cases} \partial_t u = \Delta u - \nabla \cdot (u(1-u)\nabla c), \\ \partial_t c = \Delta c + u - c, \end{cases} \] in the Euclidean space. In this model, nodes represent cell components \(u\), and edges represent their interactions \(c\). The article discusses the global existence and asymptotic self-similar behavior of solutions. The author also discusses a numerical simulation of a combined finite volume and finite element scheme and evaluates the effectiveness of this combined scheme.
