Some fixed point theorems and applications in Busemann spaces (Q6176307)

Fixed point theorems play a crucial role in several fields, especially in differential equations. In this work, authors prove a generalized version of the Darbo-Sadovskii fixed point theorem in Busemann spaces. The Petryshyn's theorem for \(k\)-set contraction in hyperbolic spaces for \(k\) between zero and half is derived using it. Some more results of fixed points for certain general classes of mappings in Busemann spaces are derived as well. At then end, the authors propose a possible extension as an open problem.
