Oscillations analysis for two kinds of Nicholson models (Q6177768)

The paper is concerned with the solution of nonlinear delay differential equations based on two Nicholson models. The paper begins with some necessary background. The theory of oscillation is applied to the nonlinear problems to construct a linear delay differential equation and the linear \(\vartheta\)-method is then used as numerical scheme to derive a discrete problem. The authors go on to consider the oscillation/non-oscillation properties of both continuous and discrete problems. The paper concludes with some numerical experiments that illustrate the results.
